How do you think you can identify marijuana?

The usage of marijuana has seen a rise in the past few years with the main targets of this drug being the high-school and the college peer. The intake of marijuana is legal in some states but in regulated amount. Needless to say, the limits are far surpassed by the young and old alike and fall for the highs of the drugs and end up being an addict who just can’t survive without it (and that’s not the truth -they assume it to be so). Most of the consumers of marijuana and many others aren’t quite aware of its after effects and as to exactly what it is.

Marijuana is one of the most commonly tested and used drugs, not just in the united states of America but in several other countries of the world. Herbs, pot, weed and grass are the various forms of marijuana in which it is commonly available. The main ingredient of marijuana is the THC, abbreviation for tetrahydrocannobinol. It is this ingredient that is responsible for the high in which the consumer revels in illusion. The effects of marijuana and the detection time of marijuana are dependent on the strength or potency of marijuana and that has a direct relation with the amount of THC present in the intake of it. Marijuana is soluble in fats and thus it can be easily stored in the various organs of the body. Usually marijuana gets accumulated in the fat cells of the body, the kidneys, the liver and the brain-so to say, it’s the important organs of the body which are widely affected by its intake.

How do you think you can identify marijuana?

Although there are supposedly many tests for the detection of marijuana, the most common one and the most authentic one is the urine test. With the urine test, marijuana can be detected even after a month from the last time the marijuana had been smoked. Another test used to detect is the hair test. But this test isn’t recommendable given in that it may even detect marijuana traces smoked around 3 years back from the date of test! The reason for this is that the THC gets stored in hair follicles and thus varying with the amount of hair sampled for the test, the results may vary.

For how long does the marijuana reside in the system?
The answer to this question is that it is dependent on the amount of THC consumed. On an average, it may stay in the system of a person for around 3-90 days after the time of its smoking. Some of the other factors involved in the answer are:

• Health
• Body weight
• Metablosim
• Fluid intake
• Type of drug toxin used
• Degree of exposure to drug toxin.

Detox
Detoxification of marijuana is a good option to consider for de-addiction. Marijuana detox is a gradual process and the time taken for it is dependent on the speed of the metabolism of the body in concern and the amount of THC consumed.

There are several detoxification centers and rehabilitation centers where marijuana detox can be undergone. Some of the products of detoxification too yield good results.
