BOSTON - Resident public authorities in Massachusetts are passing their own severer specification cracking down on pot, because they expressed their strong desire to close wilderness parturiatewhen the state's voters languished amercements for storage of marijuana.
At least seven commonwealth have accepted internal adjustment directing or prohibiting pot employment in public places, since voters adopted a new law in November that produced from penalty dispossess of an ounce or less of marijuana. Some more ones are elaborating programs after transiting of the law, superseding a criminal amercement of up to six months in jail and a $500 fine with a $100 civil fine and forfeiture of the drug.
Supporters for decriminalizing insignificant amounts of pot point prescribing severer penalties in cities and towns disregards the will of the voters. Following some local officials confirmations their communities need to put the teeth back into the amercement. |
