WOODSTOCK - Old Crystal Lake, a 39-year- man was imprisoned in Monday night after 35 marijuana plants and 122.5 grams of processed marijuana were found in his flat.
According to Crystal Lake Deputy Chief Dennis Harris, they obliged to investigate parolees living in Crystal Lake and during one of them; police felt marijuana smell in Alexis D. Ojea Sr.'s apartment building at 205 Marian Parkway. The Illinois Department of Corrections' Web site tells that Ojea is discharged on parole for methamphetamine and cocaine charges from other counties.
Police found the plants, which ranged from seedlings to adults, growing with an enhanced lighting and ventilation system. Among their findings there were cash, a computer, interior packing cellular telephone and ledgers, subsequently acted a part of evidences.
Ojea was incriminated with unenviable list of criminations: unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful production of marijuana plants. For the most serious of them he can get between two and five years in prison.
Ojea remained in McHenry County Jail on Monday evening, a judge appointed him a public defender, and his case is next due in court Monday. |
